Tibetan monk-like drone begins, quickly joined by Hindu-Muslim incantations. Five holy "flames" begin fluttering; out of which five scepter-like Olympic "spirits" rise. Each scepter, a writhing serpent wearing a mask of a sun god.

Bass drums now announce the spirits of the five tribes of humanity; soon joined by primitive tribal drumming and dancing by masked demons. These tribes cavort about in demonic frenzy, eventually becoming one mass of intertwined humanity; united in worship of sun and moon.

We now go back to Mt. Olympus. An Athenian "temple" is erected. The subjects ("athletes") come and bow before the "light." And then worship man's greatness as posed in athletic prowess.

The time of worship ends with a "Hallelujah Chorus" sung by the "church choir" bedecked in choir gowns. Once the introductions and oaths have been sworn, and the "spirit" has ascended to light the Olympic torch, a Baptist opera singer closes with a benediction.

This $15 million worship service was accessible to 3.5 billion people; Over half the world's population. And far from being "just" an opening ceremony for the Olympics, is the beginning of the End-time world movement of rebellion against God. It is an active representation of the United Religions, one-world religion, that is upon us. And...Lord have mercy on those who participated!

"Now the whole earth had one language and one speech...and they said, 'Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth...Nimrod; began to be a mighty one on the earth...and the beginning of his kingdom was Babel." (Gen11:1-4,10:8-10)

This "tower" of Babel under Nimrod's leadership, was the beginning of the world religious system (Babylon) that has continued through the millennia in various forms. Worship of sun, moon and stars...and eventually sensuous deities of lasciviousness.

God had said, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth." Man rebelled and said, "let's STAY HERE and be united." So God came down and "scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth." (Gen11:8)

Today the cycle has returned. Man, once again, is uniting in worship of Satan. Getting ready for a new religious leader...and they will readily worship the "image of the beast" (Rev13). Even the "elect" are uniting to do his bidding. A recent list of cooperating evangelical denominations/organizations includes everybody! ...except the "lunatic fringe" Bible-thumping conservatives.

However, God's promise is sure. Babylon is about to be judged. The time is "at hand." It is beginning. "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues." (Rev18:4)
