Re: Jesus...Who? Sustainer
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on
earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or
principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for
Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
(Colossians 1:16-17)
Upholding all things by the word of His power. (Hebrews 1:3)
because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown
it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible
attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are
made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without
excuse, (Romans 1:19-20)
We also are men, and preach to you that you should turn from these
useless things [idolatry] to the living God, who made the heaven, the
earth, the sea, and all things that are in them, "who in bygone
generations allowed all nations to walk in their own ways.
"Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did
good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts
with food and gladness." (Acts 14:15-17)
"God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of
heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. "Nor is He
worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He
gives to all life, breath, and all things. "And He has made from one
blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and
has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their
dwellings, "so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they
might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of
us; (Acts 17:24-27)
