Re: Jesus...Who? Advocate
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not
sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus
Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins,
and not for ours only but also for the whole world. (1Jn 2:1-2)
But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to
God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
(Heb 7:24-25)
For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are
copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the
presence of God for us (Heb 9:24)
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also
risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes
intercession for us. (Rom 8:34)
