*** MORSELS ***
Re: Day of the Lord...Deadline
After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight. (Hosea 6:2)
But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day
is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is
not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is
longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that
all should come to repentance. Therefore, since all these things will
be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct
and godliness, (2Peter 3:8-11)
And he said to me, "Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book,
for the time is at hand. "He who is unjust, let him be unjust still;
he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him
be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still." "And
behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every
one according to his work. "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the
Beginning and the End, the First and the Last." Blessed are those who
do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life,
and may enter through the gates into the city.
(Revelation 22:10-14)
But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers
and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. "But the
cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral,
sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake
which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
(Revelation 22:15, 21:8)
"Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?" says the
Lord GOD, "and not that he should turn from his ways and live? "For I
have no pleasure in the death of one who dies," says the Lord GOD.
"Therefore turn and live!" (Ezekiel 18:23,32)
