Re: The Scriptures...Mysteries for Later
Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully,
who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, searching what, or
what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was
indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and
the glories that would follow. To them it was revealed that, not to
themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have
been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you
by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven; things which angels desire to look
into. (1Pet 1:10-12)
Now to Him who is able to establish you...according to the revelation
of the mystery kept secret since the world began but now has been made
manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures has been made known to all
nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for
obedience to the faith; (Rom 16:25-26)
Behold, I tell you a mystery... (1 Cor 15:51)
"having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good
pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the
fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in
Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth; in Him.
(Eph1:9-10)
"and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from
the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things
through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God
might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in
the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He
accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, (Eph 3:9-11)
"But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time
of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."
(Dan 12:4)
"but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about
to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His
servants the prophets. (Rev 10:7)
For whatever things were written before were written for our learning,
that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have
hope. (Rom 15:4)
